PENINSULA TOURISM PARTNERS LAUNCHED

Ettalong rolls out the red carpet
ETTALONG Beach Businesses are rolling out the red carpet for customers and visitors to the region on Sunday, September 9.
Participating businesses will be offering extraordinary customer service, amazing bargains, exclusive discounts or services during 10am – 2pm. We aim to hold a Red Carpet Day Bi-Monthly.

This new local event was created by Peninsula Tourism Partners, a group of business owners which are supported by Ettalong Diggers Visitor Information Centre. The group’s focus to enhance and develop business in Ettalong Beach.

The day coincides with the 3rd Annual Studebaker Car Show, held in the Ettalong Diggers Car Park.

Kim Cole, Tourism & Visitor Information Centre Administrator at Ettalong Diggers says: “We are door-knocking and trying to lock in as many businesses as possible for the ultimate Red Carpet experience in Ettalong Beach.”

Shannon’s Car Insurance have donated three trophies for the three Best in show – Public Vote for the Studebaker Cars on show.

Rotary will be raising money for a Local Youth Refuse by selling Raffle Tickets with prizes donated by the participating local businesses.

Buskers will be entertaining the crowds as guests walk through the main street of Ettalong Beach (Ocean View Drive).

The main aim of the “Red Carpet Day” is to bring local business owner/operators together to create an event solely focused Ettalong Beach Business that have been struggling since the diversion of the Palm Beach to Ettalong Ferry Service since May 2.
