NEW SCHOOL FOR WARNERVALE

THE booming Warnervale region is to get a new school.
Planning has started on the design of the school, which includes 20 new future focused classrooms and facilities including a new hall with capacity for 1000 students and a new library.

The new school will accommodate up to 460 students and help meet the anticipated growth in enrolment demand in the area.

Warnervale is alive with the sound of homes being built as several new estates take shape.

Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast Scot MacDonald said the project was an exciting component for growth in the Warnervale area.

“We want to provide our coast children with the best possible education facilities now and into the future,” Mr MacDonald said.

The NSW Department of Education recently hosted a forum in Warnervale for local school principals and P&C representatives to provide information on the need for a new primary school in the area. Education planners also explained enrolment projections and capacity at nearby High Schools.

Warnervale has been earmarked by the State government as one of the key development areas on the coast
