Boutique agency believes success comes from giving

CORDI Properties is one company that strongly believes success in business should include supporting key local charities.
They donate $1,000 from every property they sell to a major community project at Gosford District Hospital.

Principal/Auctioneer Michael Cordi worked in two real estate agencies on the coast before deciding to start his boutique style agency, Cordi Properties.

That was in 2016 and the agency has been very successful with its innovative systems and attractive web site.

“When we decided that we wanted to start our own real estate business on the Central Coast, one of the most important things we wanted to do was support our local community and give back to this great community we live in,” Mr Cordi said.

“After weeks of talking with a number of local organizations I accidentally stumbled across Ronald McDonald’s family Rooms at Gosford when I had to take my daughter to hospital for an accident she had at school.

“I remember walking past this purple door that caught my attention. I walked in and entered an amazing place full of character and very welcoming. Finding such a friendly escape in a hospital came as quite a surprise.

“I spoke with the Family Room Coordinator Kami Dibden who runs the centre and she proceeded to tell me what they do and how they rely on community support to keep the doors open.

“The work they do and the volunteers do is amazing and we are so privileged to work with them and support the work they do and organization, he said.

Ronald McDonald Family Room Gosford, located within the Gosford Hospital is a comfortable haven where families can escape the hospital environment.

Visiting or staying with a child in hospital can be both physically and emotionally draining, particularly if you have other family members to care for as well.

The Family Room is open for everyone in the family providing somewhere for the kids to play, a kitchen to prepare refreshments, bathroom and laundry facilities.

The bright purple door is easily found outside the children’s ward and ensures that you are able to remain close to your child while taking that much needed break.
