Daniel's rise tells the story of Central Coast Leagues

DANIEL Brian is Operations Manager at Central Coast Leagues Club. His rise to this position, illustrates the encouraging environment of Central Coast Leagues Club towards its employees.

Dan commenced work at Central Coast Leagues Club in January 2001 working casually on the door, shortly after the previous renovations of the Club were completed.

After about three months, Dan worked relief duty manager shifts and in his own words: “Was lucky enough to be appointed as a full time Duty Manager in 2002.”

In 2011, Dan was appointed operations manager managing security, rostering, compliance, gaming, beverage, business partners and contractors within the venue.

“Most of my time in the past twelve months has been focussed on the building construction, processes and future growth opportunities,” he said.

“It’s been frantic, but seeing everything come together over the recent weeks has been exceptionally rewarding.

“Industry colleagues and members who have visited in the later stages of development have been overly impressed with the design and with my history with the Club, I’m able to provide a greater depth of historical perspective on the changes, why we’ve made them and how they’ll benefit our members and the community.”

In the past the venue was frequently known for its “Club Troppo” events and gaming, but Central Coast Leagues Club is looking forward to giving their patrons and the greater Central Coast Community a reason to visit.

There will be more entertainment from Thursday to Sunday, and great dining options with Archie’s Brasserie and Café as well as the well-known Star Buffet, Peking Garden Chinese and Yume Teppanyaki.

Central Coast Leagues Club now have 25 tap beers including local and international brews and the imposing copper Carlton Tank beer tanks, which is just near the Welcome Centre - providing a beer with a lively taste profile and a smooth finish to all the bars on the ground floor.

The new venue is fresh, vibrant and possesses classic design features, which will be a welcome addition to Gosford - the heart of the Coast.

“I believe that CCLC will become the centrepiece of dining and entertainment for our 55,000 members and their guests. The old venue was very out-dated and we appreciate that our loyal members were waiting a long time for these works to occur, but together with the CEO and the Board, we’re certain this will surprise and delight all who visit,” said Dan.

The new Kendall’s bar, great lounge area and alfresco now all on the one floor will allow Central Coast Leagues Club to better service all members and guests who make the Central Coast Leagues their destination of choice.

“It’s been an interesting, sometimes frenetic but always a wonderful journey to see my career grow along with that of the Club.”
