SKATE BOARDING BIG BUSINESS

SKATE boarding is one of the primary sports outlets for young Central Coast residents and with top class boards costing several hundred dollars it is also big business.

In recognising the need for great facilities, Central Coast Council has officially opened the newly renovated Berkeley Vale Skate Park following $145,000 in works.

In addition to the Berkeley Vale facility, Council will spend $185,000 to investigate and design a new district skate park at Lake Munmorah and has secured $500,000 from the Federal Government to build a new district skate park at Terrigal.
